Agreement

By registering your company online via our website www.ppg-uk.co.uk you have agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of membership to Premier Purchasing Group (PPG). The company understands that the specially negotiated prices for PPG members will not be available to non-members and, should membership lapse, will not qualify for these prices. All members not renewing their membership will have all their PPG supplier accounts stopped and will have to negotiate their own terms for the supply of goods/services. Members deemed to be undermining the name of PPG for whatever reason will have their membership terminated immediately. PPG has endeavoured to bring its members the best prices available, however we do not guarantee that these prices cannot be beaten.

Data Protection Act Statement

The personal data provided by you will be used in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. PPG will not sell or release details of your personal information to anyone outside PPG as an organisation & it’s contracted suppliers. Your contact details may be used in two ways:-

1. by PPG for member details and for contact purposes.
2. PPG suppliers will be given your contact details and company information, solely for the purposes of providing a quality service, and for informing you of supplier offers, price changes and new products and services, in the context of your PPG membership.

You have the right to make a formal request in writing for access to personal data held about you to inspect it and have it corrected if it is wrong.

Trade Purchase

Each member must deal directly with the supplier or service provider and quote their unique PPG account number for all requests and transactions. Suppliers and service providers may ask to see your membership card (provided by PPG upon joining) before supplying on PPG negotiated terms, conditions and rates.

Product & Service Guarantee

PPG is solely acting as a third-party brokering company, and is responsible only for the introduction of the two parties making transactions. Product and service guarantees are not the responsibility of PPG, or any claims and disputes arising from the same. PPG will investigate member’s complaints regarding products and services with the aim of providing its members with a consistently high level of quality and service, and will take the necessary action to do this.

Termination of Membership

Either party may terminate this agreement upon 14 days written notice to the other party. Immediately upon termination all PPG suppliers will be notified and their PPG accounts will be closed. Members wishing to continue using suppliers to the PPG group may do so on their own agreed terms and conditions. PPG reserves the right to terminate any membership agreement at any time.

Supplier Accounts

All members will be responsible for paying their own supplier accounts under the terms and conditions agreed with each supplier. Suppliers are not obliged to provide products and services to PPG members and are at liberty to exercise their own discretion based on trade references and credit checks. PPG will investigate any member not paying supplier accounts, which may result in their membership to PPG being suspended or stopped.
