Oct 09: Care Home Group make massive savings through PPG

A Care Home Group, with 12 homes and over 630 residents to feed, recently joined Premier Purchasing Group to see if our buying power was better than theirs.

The group were spending over £370,000 per year on frozen and grocery food products with a leading foodservice company.

We asked 3663 Foodservice to carry out a price comparison for the group which resulted in savings each year of more than £55,000 (a 15% reduction in costs).

Within a couple of weeks the contract was in place with 3663 and the Care Home Group are now looking at lowering their costs on medical disposables, which we are very confident of achieving.
